Who Are Good Candidates for Adopting Australian Labradoodles?

Australian Labradoodles are very special dogs with great breeding. Adopting one of these dogs is not the same as adopting just any dog from the local pet store or pound. The care that goes in maintaining their bloodlines and the qualities that these dogs have make them special, so they deserve to go to the right owners.

Australian Labradoodles are very good-natured dogs who have been breed for their friendly and social demeanor. This makes these labradoodles ideal dogs for use as therapy or service animals. If you are a qualified trainer who can take one of these puppies and give them the training they need to help others who might be struggling in some way, you might be a great candidate for adopting, if only temporarily, an Australian Labradoodle puppy.

Australian Labradoodles need plenty of exercise and attention.

Australian Labradoodles are also good pets for those who would not be good candidates for other breeds of dogs because they have allergies or asthma. Australian Labradoodles, that are properly take care of and are healthy, are considered no or low shedding dogs. Labradoodles, like all dogs, will shed their puppy coat of fur and have it replaced with their adult coat of fur, but besides that brief time frame, these dogs should produce very little shedding and dander. Labradoodles also have fur that is does not pick up and hold in dirt and pollen like some other dog's coats might.People with allergies and asthma as less likely to have negative reactions to Australian Labradoodles for this reason.

Australian Labradoodles are very social dogs, especially as puppies. A good potential owner for one of these special pups is going to have the time to play with their dog and have lots of love to give him. It is even better if these dogs have a couple of people to get attention from. Because of their good nature, Australian Labradoodles are great family dogs and do well with children. Socializing these dogs is important. An ideal owner will not only give the dog their attention, but will give their dog the opportunity to play with other dogs sometimes too.

Australian Labradoodles are great dogs for so many reasons, but one great quality is that grooming them is not too much work. A good potential owner for one of these dogs is going to take the time to properly groom their furry friend. The way their fur coats work is that the more you wash them, the more you need to wash them, so it is best not to over do it. A bath one a month or even even six weeks is plenty. Brushing is similar; the more you brush their fur, the more you need to. Brushing your dog a couple times a month should be more than enough, if you keep the hair around the ears properly trimmed.

If you feel that you would make a great Australian Labradoodle owner, be sure to fill out an adoption application on Highlands Australian Cobberdog website. This will help you get one step closer to being able to have your own furry companion and friend.
